  • At AvePoint, I hold a pivotal role as the Design Lead, where I spearhead various high-impact projects across multiple facets of the company’s branding and design needs.

    My responsibilities include the development of branding guidelines and booklets for key internal and external groups such as the Presidents Club, the Partner Program, and the Customer Advisory Council. I lead the design of various booth setups for live events and manage the YouTube strategy, including channel cleanup and content optimization.

    I collaborate closely with the Partner Program Manager, designing collateral and maintaining the partner portal to ensure brand consistency and engagement.

    As Design Lead, I am responsible for project management, assigning and monitoring tasks throug our global design team. I am consistently streamlining workflows and ensuring efficient execution of design initiatives.

    This leadership position in design not only influences AvePoint's visual and strategic branding but also drives significant improvements in user engagement and partner relationships.

    As contractor at Calendly, I am currently assisting the Internal Enablement Sales Team with as-needed instructional design tasks, organizing and producing training material playbook creation, and presentation design.

    Description:
    In my capacity as a Senior Graphic Designer at intention.ly, I had the privilege of working closely with a diverse clientele comprising 50+ companies, from financial advisors to fintech platforms. My responsibilities spannedd a wide spectrum of creative projects, including the development of website prototypes, brand designs, logos, social media content, ad campaigns, and live event collateral.

    Reporting directly to the Creative Director, I collaborated extensively with our account managers and directly engaged with clients to ensure the seamless execution of creative endeavors. During my tenure, I witnessed substantial company growth, with our client base expanding from 30 to over 50, reflecting the team's commitment to excellence and the agency’s growth trajectory.

    A core aspect of my role was to stay updated on evolving trends within the financial industry. This knowledge allowed me to guide our clients in staying current with the latest technologies and design aesthetics, ensuring their positioning themselves as industry leaders

  • In my various roles at loanDepot, I led the Enterprise Optimization rebrand initiative and built an interactive Asset Library via Sharepoint as a hub for all brand guidelines. This required understanding the company’s vision, sub brands, target audiences, & competitor activities.

    In the process of implementing Scaled Agile across the org, I had to opportunity the become a Certified Leading SAFe Agilist. I collaborated as lead marketing manager with the executive team to rollout Agile and I managed the development of comprehensive training materials for Business Leaders and Initiative Owners.

    In this process, I used my experience and expertise to lead and train our org in implementing Asana, which included training via 1:1 calls, creating video tutorials, writing SOPs, & setting up project flows.

    While there, I designed and implemented a project status Dashboard within SharePoint, including current sprint info, completion, & outstanding tickets. I launched marketing campaigns for various products and feature rollouts, worked closely with leadership to create multiple sub-brands, all within the same design language, and created sub-brands, messaging, and email campaigns for our quarterly event.

    As apart of my role, I collaborated with our business partners & vendors to create cohesive brand visuals & tell compelling stories about how our products integrate to the experiences of our end users.

    As someone who loves collaborating, I gave & received feedback internally and externally, giving critiques respectfully and efficiently, as well as cultivating a spirit of learning new techniques, tips, tricks, shortcuts, design tools, and best practices for myself and my team.

    I led an initiative to organize all of our branded elements into an Adobe Asset Library that was then shared with team members.

    I created editable illustrations for team use and created trainings to make updates quickly and efficiently. Another internal org asked me to create a shortform video tutorial teaching technical skills to our target users.

    I built out wireframe designs and collaborated with the front-end development team. I conducted market research with internal product teams to discover information regarding project management styles, goals, and team dynamics.

    I collaborated as a consultant on the the Lean Portfolio Management Team and led the communications surrounding an Agile Rollout, created resources for Instructional Design, organized trainings, designed presentation decks, and presented new tech initiatives by utilizing and translating project data into consumable visuals.

  • I founded and ran my own brand agency for ~10 years, where I supported various types of startups and small businesses, but mainly I worked with exiting corporate women who wanted to launch successful coaching businesses. While my love for art drove me to create, my skill for strategy helped me expand my services and I equipped my clients with clear, concise, and cohesive brand messages.

    With hundreds of clients throughout the years, I designed brands from the ground up: workbooks, course collateral, logos, brand guidelines, social media designs, training materials, and more. I often acted as lead marketing director and designer and used my various experiences to consult business owners in both design and marketing.

Notable Clients:

  • Throughout my Agency’s lifespan, I partnered with Web Developer Sam Munoz in building and scaling a pre-designed Wordpress/Divi Template shop. I designed wireframes, illustrated and digitized brand elements, and created various characters and icons for her customers to utilize.Item description

  • For a season, I partnered with LogoDesign.net to create Illustrator Tutorials for various types of logo design. I managed everything: storyboarding, filming, subject matter, voiceover, editing, publishing, and writing strong SEO descriptions. This garnered over 10k views.

  • Alongside being a HoneyBook Educator and creating video tutorials for business owners interested in working with the Client Relationship Manager SaaS, I had the opportunity to design proposal and brochure templates that were beta-tested directly to customers in their Template Shop.

  • I worked as a contractor for Glassdoor, in the Sales Enablement Department, where I built and designed various sales playbooks in Google Slides. This included understanding the overall sales process and pipeline, gathering stock photography, and designing page layouts. I coordinated with team members over the course of six months, revised documents, created additional one-pagers linked within the main playbooks, and reported directly to the Sales Enablement Director.

  • One of my most robust series of projects I had was for Dana Malstaff of Boss Mom, where I worked on a small team that supported her various courses, coaching programs, content creation, and live events. I designed everything from swag to 200+ page course workbooks in InDesign.

  • Social Media Management: Generated sales via design, copywriting, scheduling, and managing multiple social media networks for various clients simultaneously.

  • Live Event Design: Led design and production management for small to medium in-person events, including communicating with printers and overseeing set up.

  • Workshops & Trainings: Produced marketing courses that taught 1000+ students to launch their own brand, create logos, and utilize design tools. Led a live, in-person workshop for students and faculty at the University of Texas. Taught live paint classes to 80+ art students.
